RECIPE: Cranberry Relish

Cranberries add the perfect amount of sweet and sour flavor to any dish. Today we’re sharing a cranberry relish recipe to accompany your holiday meals! Spread on to sandwiches, pair with cheeses, or simply serve plain in a bowl, enjoy this relish all day long.

Cranberry Relish

Ingredients (makes 16, 1 1/2 oz servings)

  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 4 oz onions, chopped
  • 8 oz dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 9 oz baking apples, cored, peeled, and diced
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 1 1/2 cup hot water

Directions

In a sauce pan, simmer onion, dried cranberries, chopped apple, apple juice, cider vinegar, water, cinnamon stick, sugar, and salt. Cover and cook slowly for 20 minutes or until the apples are soft. Remove and discard the cinnamon stick.

Serve and enjoy!
