The Friends Council on Education once again asked CulinArt Group to host a luncheon as part of its annual Spring Heads Gathering, which took place April 23-24 at the Historic Arch Street Meeting House in Philadelphia.
The Spring Heads Gathering attracts 100 or so heads of school who attend the Council’s Annual Meeting. CulinArt has been supporting the luncheon for 15 years, demonstrating its commitment to the Council as well as our Friends/Quaker clientele, which includes Friends’ Central School, Friends Select School, Sandy Spring Friends School, Wilmington Friends School, and William Penn Charter School.
The menu (see below), which CulinArt prepared nearby at Friends Select School, where Robin Fleetwood is chef manager, “was thoughtfully curated using locally sourced ingredients,” said Nicole Fusco, CulinArt’s director of operations, “and highlighting and supporting local farms. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase our commitment to quality, community, and sustainability.”
“Everything was beautiful,” said April Diop, director of operations for the Friends Council. “I enjoyed meeting the CulinArt team, and we felt cared for. Thank you so much for your help, and we hope that CulinArt continues to partner with us in the future. We truly value the partnership.”
The Council is the only association of Quaker schools in the United States, comprising 76 schools located across the country. Arch Street Meeting House, which is a National Historic Landmark, is the largest Quaker meeting house in the country, having served as a place of worship since 1682.
Director of Operations Nicole Fusco introduced the CulinArt team that prepared a recent luncheon for the Friends Council on Education, an association of Quaker schools, at its annual Spring Heads Gathering in Philadelphia. CulinArt has been supporting the luncheon for 15 years, and this year prepared a menu of Baked Citrus Halibut with Fennel, Prosciutto Topped Chicken, Char Siu Roasted Cauliflower, Shaved Spring Root “Carpaccio” Salad, and Pear Galette.
“Everything was beautiful,” said April Diop, director of operations for the Friends Council. “I enjoyed meeting the CulinArt team, and we felt cared for. Thank you so much for your help, and we hope that CulinArt continues to partner with us in the future. We truly value the partnership.”
